gosh........well off to visit my jw mom and dad tomorrow haven't seen them in a while, i've never approached them on anything i've learned here over the past few months, whilst i don't intend to be like a bull in a china shop with them (they are elderly), if i raise a subject,......but would like to plant a very very small seed of doubt with them?

jehovah isn't God's name - it's a made up word - you can put whatever spin you want on it.
It's a really good thing that the wtbts were guided to adopt that name.

The wtbts will likely confuse the meaning of 'sacred' with that of 'possession' (which is babylon). It is the typical thing, that they are anti, or opposite.
What is sacred to them is what they do not will in any way to give up - possession.
Sacred is that song that just 'does it' for us, or that beautiful time you just can't forget - it is that spiritual beauty that we seem to touch sometimes.
What it isn't is the guarded possession - but to some it might be - if indeed you live in babylon.

it's been about 6 months since my last post.

Dont say satanic, but make sure everyone understands the fruity nature of their belief regarding you that you are an apostate and as such are a loathsome and destined for doom at the end of the world (soon) and youd prefer that your kids werent subjected to hearing that about you as it is unhealthy, and may take sometime for them to get over it.

my brother (raised a jw, never baptized, not a jw at all) and i were talking this morning, and he informed me that our grandmother - our last living grandparent - is very ill. it sounds as though she will die soon, because she stopped taking her insulin and all other medications.
my mother informed my brother after receiving a phone call from her brother/my uncle.. i'm the only one of my siblings who was not informed directly by our mother.
out of all my siblings, i'm the only one who was baptized as a jw and then left, so i'm thinking this is par for the course with being shunned, although my grandmother was never a jw herself.
